Earlier this month we spent the day at the Autumn Fair 2025 at the NEC Birmingham — one of the biggest trade shows in the interiors and homeware calendar. For us, it’s always an important trip: a chance to discover new products, keep an eye on upcoming trends, and come home with fresh ideas for the showroom and website.
Here’s a look at what we got up to and the inspiration we’re bringing back...
Starting the Day
Once we’d parked up, grabbed our badges, and walked into the halls, our first stop was Langs. Their stand was full of beautiful home decor and seasonal pieces (you might see some appearing with us very soon 👀). It’s always nice to start the day with familiar faces, and it set the tone perfectly.
From there, we headed to the Business Hub. Coffee in hand, we sat down for some of the speaker sessions covering websites, AI, and social media. There were lots of interesting takeaways — especially around how businesses can use digital platforms more creatively. Definitely food for thought for us as we keep building our online presence.
Coffee, Lunch & A Quick Reset
After a busy morning, a second coffee and some lunch were well deserved. Trade shows can feel non-stop, so it was a good moment to regroup and plan out the rest of the day and see what other stands we needed to visit. These little breaks are often where the best chats happen too — we met another buyer over coffee and, in true trade show fashion, kept bumping into him around the halls all afternoon.
The afternoon was all about exploring the stands, and there was so much to take in. One of our longest stops was at Hill Interiors. Their home accessories were just beautiful — that perfect balance of timeless and on-trend. We couldn’t quite believe the scale and quality of their products, and it made us feel proud to have them stocked on our website. Their artificial flowers also deserve a mention. They were so realistic you’d genuinely need to touch them to know they weren’t real, and yes… you’ll find them on our site too.
We then headed to Malini, who impressed us with their soft furnishings. Their cushions and throws stood out instantly, with rich textures and deep tones that felt both classic and contemporary. The throws in particular were super soft and came in the most beautiful colours — sage greens, plums, and soft neutrals. They just got it spot on.
Over at Gingko Design, it was their sculptural lighting that caught our eye. The magnetic and planet lamps were favourites, clever pieces that double up as décor while still being practical. They had a real “wow” factor that drew us in straight away.
We also spent time with fragrance brands, including Aroma Botanicals and Serenity. Both offered gorgeous collections, from diffusers and aromatherapy stone crystals to beautifully packaged candles — all designed to instantly lift a space.
Finally, CorinCraft stood out with their aromatherapy stones. We loved how natural and thoughtful they were, and it’s clear from the reviews that they’ve made a big impact. Their “snore stones” in particular had people raving, with one customer saying they’d “saved their marriage” — and honestly, we can imagine they might have!
We wandered plenty of other stands, each offering something different — from textiles to accessories, it was great to see the variety.
Key Trends We Noticed
Across the show, a few themes kept coming through:
Layered textures – boucle, sherpa, brushed cotton, and plenty of velvet.
Autumn colour palettes – rust, ochre, deep greens, and warm neutrals, with pops of teal and plum.
Lighting as a feature – lamps that make a statement as much as they illuminate.
Wellbeing at home – fragrance, aromatherapy, and products designed to create a calm, relaxing atmosphere.
The Autumn Fair always feels like the starting point of the season for us, and this year has left us especially excited for what’s to come. All the inspiration we gathered will feed into our upcoming collections, both in the showroom and online.
Most exciting of all — our Christmas and Winter Collection launches on 1st October to our customers who join the waitlist and launches to the public officially on 3rd October. Expect to see lots of those textures, tones, and seasonal details we loved at the show woven into the pieces we’ve chosen. Keep an eye out on our socials and sign up to our newsletter to be the first to know when the Christmas and Winter Collection waitlist goes live.
The Autumn Fair 2025 was a day full of creativity, connection, and inspiration. We came away with tired feet, full notebooks, and plenty of ideas that we can’t wait to share with you.
